The oxidation catalytic converter with a volume flow rate of between 1,000 and 3,000 m3/h consists of a combustion chamber and a container housing the catalytic convertor.
The unrefined gas loaded with organic pollutants is forced through the machine with the aid of a ventilator.
The unrefined gas first reaches the combustion chamber where it is heated up to approx. 450ºC.
It then flows through the catalyst bed where the oxidation of harmful substances takes place. A connecting piece is located downstream of the catalytic converter, through which the cleaned exhaust gas can be conveyed through a pipe into the atmosphere or to the hot air unit.
Our CT 1000 catalytic afterburner enables exhaust gas to be cleaned at extremely low temperatures.
The careful selection of catalytic converters guarantees low reaction temperatures and thus low operating costs.
