The ox­i­da­tion cat­alytic con­verter with a vol­ume flow rate of be­tween 1,000 and 3,000 m3/h con­sists of a com­bus­tion cham­ber and a con­tainer hous­ing the cat­alytic con­ver­tor.

The un­re­fined gas loaded with or­ganic pol­lu­tants is forced through the ma­chine with the aid of a ven­ti­la­tor.

The un­re­fined gas first reaches the com­bus­tion cham­ber where it is heated up to ap­prox. 450ºC.

It then flows through the cat­a­lyst bed where the ox­i­da­tion of harm­ful sub­stances takes place. A con­nect­ing piece is lo­cated down­stream of the cat­alytic con­verter, through which the cleaned ex­haust gas can be con­veyed through a pipe into the at­mos­phere or to the hot air unit.

Our CT 1000 cat­alytic af­ter­burner en­ables ex­haust gas to be cleaned at ex­tremely low tem­per­a­tures.

The care­ful se­lec­tion of cat­alytic con­vert­ers guar­an­tees low re­ac­tion tem­per­a­tures and thus low op­er­at­ing costs.
